# Upcheck > Upcheck is website monitoring for teams. It watches every website you own four ways — uptime, SSL certificate, DNS, and domain registration — plus three optional checks: a keyword check that reads one page for text that should or should not be there, a content check that watches a page, one element on it, or the first number in it for change, and a port check that connects to up to ten TCP ports on the website or its origin — and alerts your team by email, Slack, Discord, Teams, or webhook before a small problem becomes an outage. The uptime check takes HTTP options (path, method, request headers, expected status codes, body text, a response-time limit) that turn it into an API check. One plan: $10/month plus $1 per website, with every alert channel included and no seat fees. How the checks run: uptime is probed over HTTPS every 5 minutes with an outage confirmed on a second failed probe before anyone is alerted, by default a GET of the root with 2xx and 3xx up, 4xx a warning and 5xx down, or with HTTP options a request to any path with any method (GET, HEAD, POST), up to ten headers, an expected-status list, a case-insensitive body text match and a response-time limit whose breach fires a separate slow-response trigger; the keyword check fetches a page you choose every 5 minutes and searches the raw HTML for a word or phrase that should be present or absent, confirmed the same way; the content check fetches a page every 5 minutes, keeps only the visible text (optionally scoped by a CSS selector), and alerts when it, or the first number in it, changes, drops or rises, with before and after in the alert; the port check opens a TCP connection to each named port every 5 minutes with a 4-second timeout and closes it without sending anything, reporting closed, filtered, or unprobeable for a host behind Cloudflare's edge, TCP only and never port 25; SSL certificates are re-checked twice a day (validity, chain, hostname coverage, and expiry); DNS is resolved every 6 hours with alerts on resolution failures or unexpected A, AAAA, NS, or MX record changes; domain registration expiry is tracked daily over RDAP, including registry holds. ## Product -
